Course Overview
There are many situations in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals that require the use of sterilisation techniques. By far the oldest and most common approach is that of steam sterilisation. This versatile method can be used for the terminal sterilisation of finished products, sterilisation of bulk product prior to aseptic processing, as well as the sterilisation of containers, closures and equipment. Steam sterilisation is a very robust process, but like all processes it need careful design, operation, maintenance and control in order to provide the desired level of sterility assurance. This interactive webinar provides an introduction to steam sterilisation, including the best practices than can be employed to ensure that any steam system remains complaint and in control.
