WEBINAR: Water systems
Course Overview
This water systems webinar is aimed at pharmaceutical personnel, including Production, Technical, Quality and Engineering personnel, who need an introduction to pharmaceutical water systems. The webinar will be of benefit to people working in sterile and non-sterile manufacturing activities and will provide invaluable information on how pharmaceutical water systems are designed, operated, monitored and managed in order to remain compliant, and to avoid significant problems. This interactive webinar provides an introduction to pharmaceutical water systems, including the best practices than can be employed in system design and operation.

Who will the course benefit?
This webinar is aimed at anyone working in pharmaceutical production, or related support activities, who need an appreciation of pharmaceutical water systems, including both Purified and Water For Injection (WFI) systems, and how they are designed, operated, monitored, managed and maintained.
Course Overview
Water is a critical consumable used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. It has a wide variety of uses in pharmaceutical production; it can be a major component of a formulation, it can be a processing aid, it is used for cleaning and disinfection, as well as being the source of steam for sterilisation processes. Water systems have to be designed operated, managed and controlled to ensure the quality of water produced is suitable for its intended use. Physical, chemical and microbiological contamination of water systems is a major concern in pharmaceutical manufacturing, as well as the risk that microorganisms have the ability to form biofilms, which need to be avoided at all costs. This interactive webinar provides an introduction to pharmaceutical water systems, including the best practices than can be employed to keep such systems complaint and in control.
